As a junior Buyer, you are a key element to Team Procurement. You will be responsible for all operational and administrative activities of the team. You are of great importance to our Technical Buyer, Strategic IT Buyer as well as the Procurement Manager. They rely on your accuracy and your ability to help them organize their work. Due to the rapid and continuous growth of the organization, the tasks and duties will evolve over time. You will be keen to develop and grow within the role and challenge yourself to take on additional tasks as they present themselves. Other responsibilities include:
Purchase to Pay: creation of new purchase orders, suppliers and articles in our SAP B1 ERP system;
Administration and archiving of all supplier contracts;
Coordination of contract renewals and adjustments;
Assist in the preparation of management reports and supplier KPI scorecards;
Administration / registration of regular compliance checks to support external (ISO) audits;
Coordinate quotation requests and conduct light negotiations.
Because of the fast-paced (international) environment, flexibility, ability to multi-task and a pro-active attitude are key. You show ownership and team spirit to your day-to-day work, an eagerness to learn and ambitions to grow. You also bring:
A bachelor degree; Technical degree is an advantage;
A minimum of 1-3 professional experience;
- Strong communication skills;
- Fluent in English and Dutch. German is an advantage;
- Experience in an administrative, supporting role within a commercial environment;
- Experience as a junior buyer is an advantage, but not required.
